Terms & Conditions

To confirm your booking we require a non-refundable 50% deposit of the total daily rate. Your balance is payable on arrival at the lodge. As long as the required deposit has not been received, the booking is not confirmed and can be cancelled without prior notice. Rates are subject to change without written notice. Daily rate is calculated from day of arrival to day of departure.

Payment only by bank transfers, travellers cheque, certified bank cheque and cash.

Changes in program:

Chacma Safaris reserves the right to change a program and/or its sequence within reason so as to adapt to weather conditions, other considerations and unforseen circumstances which may arise.

Firearms

Firearm permits are obtained upon arrival at Johannesburg's International Airport. Please note that the RSA permit forms are available for download on our site. Citizens of the USA must ensure that they are in posession of a completed, signed United States Customs form number 4457. No automatic or semi-automatic rifles are allowed. All safaris are subject to the conditions of the concerned airlines, lodges, restaurants and all other contractors involved. Certain species require CITES Permits. Only animals taken or wounded will be charged for. While every effort is made to ensure the hunting client's safety, no responsibilities can be accepted for any illness, accident or loss.
